Sam & Mark

Sam and Mark are the British pop duo Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes.

Both started their career in 2003 as a participant of Pop Idol, the talent show of the British TV channel ITV Their debut single With a little help from my friends, a cover version of the Beatles classic, reached on 21 February 2004, the top of the British charts.

As their second single, "The Sun has come your way" did not reach the top ten, they lost their record contract and both started with the moderation on. Together with Fearne Cotton she moderated Top of the Pop Saturday, which was later superseded by Top of the Pop Reloaded. After the closedown of Top of the Popmoderieren it then as the children show Tmi.
