Samantha Terán

Samantha Terán Quintanilla (born 6 May 1981 in Mexico City) is a Mexican squash player.

Career

Samantha Teran started her professional career in the 2000 season and won 15 titles so far on the WSA World Tour. Their highest placing in the world rankings, it reached position eleven in May 2010. At the World Championships she achieved with the semi-finals in 2011 her best result so far. She was also the first Mexican squash athletes to have managed. In Pan American Games she won six medals so far. 2003 and 2007 she won bronze medals in the individual and in the team competition. At the games in 2011, she won two gold medals. In single- defeating in the final Samantha Cornett from Canada. In the final game of the double competition she won at the side of Nayelly Hernández against the Colombian Catalina Pelaez and Silvia Angulo Rugeles.
