Samat Smakov

Samat Smaqow ( Kazakh Самат Смақов; born December 8, 1978 in Semipalatinsk) is a Kazakh football player.

Career

Samat Smaqow began his career in 1997 when Yelimai Semipalatinsk, where he could win in 1998, the Kazakh Cup. In 1999 he moved to the Irtysh Pavlodar and became the champion again. After further station in Russia at FK Rostov he returned in 2002 to Kazakhstan to Astana Zhenis back, with whom he won the Kazakh Cup. The 2003 season was spent back at FC Semey. From 2004 to 2006 he was at Kairat Almaty under contract. During this time he won in 2004 for the third time, the Kazakh Cup. From 2007 to 2012, the defender played for FK Aktobe, with whom he the Kazakh Cup and 2008 three times in a row (2007-2009) win the cup again.

In January 2013, he joined the Turkish second division Çaykur Rizespor.
