Samuel Slovák

Samuel Slovák ( born October 17, 1975 in Nitra ) is a former Slovak football player who now works as a coach.

Career

Association

His tribe was the club FC Nitra. After that, he had played the ŠK Slovan Bratislava and CD Tenerife. In Slovan Liberec he had been sorted out after a lengthy injury and had stood for over half a year without a contract. It was originally planned to offer him a contract at the 1 FC Nuremberg on probation until the end of the season, but his performances in training camp in Belek meant that he instead got a contract until 2005. Except playful by his abilities, he had impressed those in charge at the 1st FCN also by its high willingness to take on a strong performance- related salary. In the second year in Nuremberg him but the big breakthrough was denied due to numerous injuries when he also coach Wolfgang Wolf gave the predicate our best footballers. Overall, it was used in 13 Erstligapartien, where he scored 3 goals, including the final two goals in a Bundesliga match at the Olympic stadium in Munich. Shortly after the start of the season 2005/ 06 and only two brief appearances, his contract was dissolved. A few weeks later he joined his long-time association ŠK Slovan Bratislava, for whom he played as a team captain. In September 2010, he ended his career due to health problems, he is completing his training coaches and trained junior at Slovan.

From 1996 to 2007, he completed 20 games for the Slovak national team.
