San Pedro is a district of Los Angeles area. San Pedro is located at the southern end of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and is bordered to the east by the Port of Los Angeles. By 1909, San Pedro was a separate municipality, but was annexed to it in the context of large incorporations of the city of Los Angeles. From 1899 to 1914, the present port of Los Angeles was built in San Pedro, which is now regarded as a separate district.

San Pedro is connected only by the Harbor Gateway with the rest of the city of Los Angeles. It is a narrow district, by the Harbor Freeway leads. Special features of the district are the Vincent Thomas Bridge, which links San Pedro with Terminal Iceland, the Cabrillo Beach and the Cabrillo Beach Situated on the " Cabrillo Marine Aquarium ."
