San Pedro is a small town in the south of the island of Ambergris Caye in Belize Central America. Almost all the inhabitants of the island live in this city.

The city has about 12,900 inhabitants (estimated in mid-2009 ) and administratively belongs to the Belize District. San Pedro was founded in 1848 by Mestizenflüchtlingen the caste war of Yucatán.
