San Sebastián de Garabandal

San Sebastian de Garabandal is a small mountain village in northern Spain in the Cantabrian Mountains.

There is 1961 to 1965 four girls on June 18, 1961 first an angel and on 2 July 1961 as announced by this, the Mother of God have appeared as Mary of Mount Carmel at the place designated by him, as, according to the girls was called by the angel. In the following years there have occurred many alleged ecstasies and spectacular events, such as the lifting of gravity ( the girls hovered above the ground) and even a previously announced host miracle that was recorded photographically. It was a long time for a ban on foreign priests and religious, to exercise their functions. This prohibition, however, was eased by the Apostolic Administrator of the diocese of competent Santander Osoro Carlos Sierra.
