Sander Puri

Sander Puri (born 7 May 1988 in Tartu) is an Estonian football player. He is the twin brother of Eino Puri, who is also a professional footballer.

Career

Puri began his career with the club unterklassigen Premium Tartu, where he then moved to the 2005/06 season for FC Levadia Tallinn. There he became a regular player and borrowed in the 2007 season for Tulevik Viljandi. In the 2009/10 season, he joined the Greek first division side AE Larissa, at the Puri signed for five years. In the second half of 2010/11 Puri was awarded until season's end to the Polish first division club Korona Kielce. For the club from the province of the Holy Cross this debut against Zagłębie Lubin on 16 matchday. His only goal in the jersey of Kielce marked Puri at home against Polonia Bytom, as he scored the temporary equalizer. In summer 2011, Puri signed a loan agreement with Lombard Papa from Hungary. There he played until the end, before Puri moved to Kuopio PS from the Finnish First Division. After the season Puri moved to FC St. Mirren where he stood for six months under contract. In June 2013 he signed a contract with York City from the fourth English top flight.

For the national team of Estonia, he previously played 50 games in which he scored two goals.
