Sandro Bolchi
Sandro Bolchi (actually Alessandro Bolchi, born January 18, 1924 in Voghera, Pavia; † August 2, 2005 in Rome ) was an Italian filmmaker.
Life
Bolchi debuted after a study of the humanities in Trieste as an actor; an activity which he held throughout the 1950s. He was also a founder of the short-lived La Soffitta in Bologna and traded as a screenwriter for two feature films, since 1956 also for television. In this medium, he was involved until the mid -1990s, numerous milestones, as a director. Occasionally, he also worked for the cinema; so he produced two films by Mario Lanfranchi and led the documentary L' altro sud Director.
