Sandwich panel

Dibond is a brand for a stiff composite material. The brand is owned by the manufacturer 3A Composites. Dibond consists of two 0.3 mm thick aluminum layers were thermally bonded with a polyethylene core. Therefore Dibond is lighter than aluminum.

It is mostly used for large format photo prints. Due to the low weight and high stability of the material are photo prints on Dibond like for traveling exhibitions, but also used construction panels.
