AB Sanitas is one of the oldest and largest Lithuanian pharmaceutical companies. At present, the company produces and distributes non-patented drugs - injectables, tablets, capsules, eye drops.

History

The company " Sanitas " was founded in 1922, and registered as a joint stock company " Sanitas " in the Republic of Lithuania in 1994. In the same year its shares on the National Stock Exchange were admitted to listing. Since August 19, 2011, the control package of shares is one ( 99.4 percent) of the company AB " Sanitas " (AG) for the company " Valeant Pharmaceuticals International ." As Director General of the Company operates Saulius Mečislovas Zemaitis. Currently, the company operates about 110 people.

Production

The production capacity of " Sanitas " allow the preparation of various dosage forms - tablets, capsules, ampoules, eye drops and filled disposable syringes. Is produced according to the EU GMP Guide for human and veterinary medicine.
