Stumbras

AB Stumbras (Eng. ' bison ') is the oldest and largest spirits company in Lithuania, the Lithuanian largest exporter of strong alcoholic beverages. It was built in 1906 in Kaunas. It belongs to the "MG Baltic Trade".

The company owns the brands " Lithuanian vodka" ( vodka), " Stumbras vodka" ( vodka), "Gloria" ( brandy ), "999" (bitter ), " Stumbro Stárka " (bitter ), " Krupnikas " ( liqueur ) " Poema " ( liqueur ) and others. " Stumbras " exports its products in five continents.

2009, the company achieved sales of 119 million litas ( without VAT and excise duties), the profit of 23.2 million Lt and paid to the Lithuanian state budget 255 million litas taxes ( 2008: LTL 318 million or 90 million euros ).
