By decision of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government of 20 August 1975, the municipality of St. Bernard Frauenhofen was awarded a coat of arms. His Blazon: " A split red by a silver bar links oblique plate, topped with two crossed golden pruning hooks ." The municipality colors are red - white - yellow.

History
The Cistercian monastery of St. Bernard was dissolved in 1586. 1620 to 1773 the city was the seat of a Jesuit college. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place informed the eventful history of Austria.
