Sansoen Phra Barami

Phleng San Soen Phra Barami ( Thai: เพลง สรรเสริญ พระ บารมี ) is the king anthem of Thailand. The melody comes from a Russian composer named Pyotr Schurovsky, Prince Narisara Nuvadtivongse ( Thai: สมเด็จ พระเจ้า บรม วงศ์ เธอ เจ้าฟ้า จิตร เจริญ กรม พระยา นริศ รา นุ วัด ติ วงศ์ ) wrote the accompanying text, but around 1913 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI. ) has been revised. " Phleng San Soen Phra Barami " was the national anthem of Siam until 1932, but was then replaced by Phleng chat, today's National anthem of Thailand.

Free translation:

The royal anthem is played in Thailand, when a member of the House of Chakri occurs in an official capacity. Even at the beginning and end of the program by different television channels will sound the anthem, as well as before the main film in all Thai cinemas, where the audience has to rise. It is then usually accompanied by images from the life of many years of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX. ).
