Sant Carles de Peralta

San Carlos was in the 1960s, a meeting place for the hippie culture.

Center of public life is the little " Bar Anita " opposite the church. Here are the mailboxes for those living in the surrounding people. In the Garden Restaurant Las Dalias at the entrance to one of the two great hippie markets on the island take place on Saturdays.

San Carlos is since 1958 the permanent residence of the German artist Erwin Bechtold.
