Santiago Carpintero

Santiago Carpintero Fernández ( born September 28, 1976 in León ) is a former Spanish footballer, in the position of central midfielder.

Career

Santiago Carpintero began his professional career in 1995 with Real Oviedo B. In 1997, he played one season each, first at Albacete Balompié, then at FC Cartagena. In 2000, he moved to Toledo CD. After two years Carpintero moved again, this time for Levante. 2004 he moved to Deportivo Alavés. With Alavés Santiago Carpintero graduated in the 2005/06 season 27 games in La Liga. After three seasons, he spent one year at the Málaga CF. 2008 Capintero went to FC Cordoba. There he finished in the summer of 2010, 33 - year his career.
