Santiago Romero

Santiago Romero, full name Santiago Ernesto Romero Fernández, (* February 15, 1990 or February 15, 1992 ) is an Uruguayan football player.

Association

The 1.76 meter tall midfielder Santiago " Colo " Romero played in his childhood baby fútbol at Don Bosco. Then he stood in rows Nacional ( aufi ). From there, his path led to the youth department of Defensor Sporting. Early 2009, Romero moved to Nacional Montevideo, where he was to play in the first Cuarta División. With the team he was Uruguayan champion in his age group and decided the following year and the Torneo Clausura in Tercera División in favor of Nacional's. He stood at the Bolsos at least since the Clausura 2010 Erstligakader. For the Bolsos he denied ever since twelve games in the Primera División. In the season 2010/11 but no inserts for Romero are stored. In addition, he completed eleven matches of the Copa Libertadores. A Pflichtspieltorerfolg he did not succeed in these competitions so far. In the season 2011/12 he was Uruguayan champion with his team. After the season 2012/13 he joined as part of a lending business the Chilean club Deportes Iquique, since he did not get the expected operating times with the Bolsos. The Chileans he ran so far (as of March 19, 2014 ) 29 times in the Primera División, scoring eight goals.
