Saosin

Saosin is a post-hardcore band from Newport Beach, California.

Band History

Justin Shekoski of As Hope Dies, and Beau Burchell founded in 2003, the band under the name "The Gift". A demo was recorded, however, only instrumentals contained up to a piece in which Burchell sang. In Anthony Green they found a short time a singer with the EP Translating the Name was added. Shortly after Green left the band and founded Circa Survive. To replace Cove Reber came to Saosin. Bassist Zack Kennedy left the band due to personal reasons, he was replaced by Chris Sorenson. In 2005, the band played, among others, on the Warped Tour. At that time, created a video to Bury Your Head. The band signed a contract with Capitol Records, the EP Saosin and a short time later released the self-titled debut album on September 26, 2006. Later, the band also played at the Taste of Chaos tour, and toured with Bleeding Through and Senses Fail.
