The Sapsali or Sapsaree is a Korean breed of dog that is not recognized by the FCI, in Korea but since 2005 has the status of a national monument. The breed is recognized in Korea by the Korean Canine Council and the Korean Kennel Club.

Description

The Sapsali is medium in size and slightly longer than tall. His coat is long and abundant, faun in the colors or gray. The head hair is falling like the bobtail over his eyes. As a herding dog, he lives in herds, but his task is different: He should keep away spirits of flocks or from home, his job is so " mystical ". In the faith of the population, it is the property just these dogs to detect ghosts, display and distribute them.

Nature

The Sapsali is famous for his loyalty, a friendly dog ​​towards his family, suspicious and wary of strangers. Quiet in nature but he defends the entrusted property vehemently when it is needed.
