Sara Lov

Sara Lov (* in Hawaii) is an American singer-songwriter and composer.

Life

Sara Lov moved to her parents' divorce with her mother to Los Angeles. At the age of five years Lov was kidnapped by her father and abducted to Israel. At twelve, she returned to Los Angeles. She grew up with her ​​uncle, who could enforce the return of his niece.

While studying art at Santa Monica College, she met Dustin O'Halloran know and founded by him in 1998, the dream pop duo Devics. 2001 offered them the former bassist of the Cocteau Twins, Simon Raymonde, a recording contract with his label Bella Union. After a long stay in Italy, the two artists returned to Los Angeles. Sara Lov decided to start her career as a solo artist and collaborates with producer Zac Rae on her first album.

In January 2009, their debut was released - The Young Eyes EP on the label Nettwerk. Besides their own songs includes the EP cover versions My Body Is A Cage by Arcade Fire, and Time Bomb by Beck. The debut album Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming was published in March 2009 and is " a kind of musical terms with the past " because they processed their experiences moving youth in several songs. She lives in Los Angeles.
