The Sarabia (formerly also Sarabbia ) is a river in Oaxaca in Mexico. He pours about 30 kilometers north of Matías Romero in the Río Coatzacoalcos, which in turn flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The mouth carries according to the records of Alexander von Humboldt and the Heinrich Berghaus the name Paso del Sarabia ( Malpaso ) and therefore is set at 45 meters above sea level. On the right side of the river at approximately half the length of the Sarabia is the same Paso Real de Sarabia also. Johann Wilhelm Muller writes in his notes, which he summarized in the book travel in the United States, Canada and Mexico that the river at the height of the place Sarabia up to its confluence with the Río Coatzacoalcos is wide and quite deep. A little further on is the level of Sarabia, one that writes as Johann Wilhelm von Müller, grand prairie.
