Sarah Harrison grew up in sheltered environment together with her ​​two younger sisters in St Mary's Platt in the English county of Kent. At age 10 she wrote to the British Prime Minister John Major a letter on the subject of homelessness and also received a reply. Her parents, the former England Table Tennis Champion and later manager Ian Harrison and his wife Jennifer, a teacher who allowed her to visit the nearby and very prestigious boarding school as a day pupil Sevenoaks. After her International Baccalaureate in 2000 Sarah Harrison spent a year as a chalet girl in the Alps and then studied English at Queen Mary University in London.
