Sari Krooks

Sari Kristiina Krooks ( born February 2, 1968 in Vaasa ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player who has won the Finnish national team the bronze medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics.

Career

Sari Krooks began her career in 1983 at Vaasan Sport, reaching with this team in 1986 to third place in the Finnish Championship, the Naisten SM- sarja. In the late 1980s, she went to North America and played in the sequence for the North York Aeros and Russel Invaders. During the season 1993/94 she went back for Vasaan sports on the ice before they broke his leg in 1995 and thus the 1996 European missed themselves. In 1996 she began studying at York University in Toronto and played for the hockey team in the Ontario University Athletics ( OUA), a college league.

In 1997 she returned to Finland and was for Ilves Tampere of the SM - sarja active before she resumed her studies in 1998 at York University. Parallel she went on for the Beatrice Aeros in the NWHL on the ice.

Sari Krooks represented the Finnish national team at the 1998 Winter Olympics, five World Cups and three European Championships.
