Sartana
Sartana is a fictional character that has been shown in some spaghetti westerns.
The mostly as a gravedigger, wrapped in a long black duster Sartana is a marksman who can outsmart his opponents using many tricks and unusual tools. He thus became " a mix of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond in the Wild West." In the official film series with the figure five films appeared; in the first four Gianni Garko was the performer of Sartana, while embodied him in the last movie George Hilton.
Garko had already played in the Sartana listed in Germany under the name of the title character film Mille Dollari sul nero, but which was applied in the form and character completely different.
Numerous films from other production companies tried to capitalize on the commercial success of the figure and called their films or a protagonist also " Sartana ".
