Tens and nines from the Fanes ( from the east )

The tens ( Ladin Sas dles Diesc, Italian Sasso delle Dieci ) is a mountain of Wengen. Its name comes from the fact that he - like his neighbor mountain Neuner - Wengen facilitates an estimate of the time of day on the sun. Seen from here, the sun is about ten clock above the summit. The ten forms part of the ridge between Wengen and the Fanes- pastures, belonging to the municipality of Marebbe. He is in the area of the nature park Fanes -Senes- Prague.
