Tens and nines from the Fanes ( from the east )

The Neuner ( Ladin Sas dles Nü or earlier also Nönöres, Italian Cima Nove ) is a mountain of Wengen. Its name comes from the fact that he - like his neighbor mountain tens - of Wengen facilitates an estimate of the time of day on the sun. Seen from where the sun stands at nine clock above him. The Nine forms part of the ridge between Wengen and the Fanes- pastures, belonging to the municipality of Marebbe. He is in the area of the nature park Fanes -Senes- Prague.
