Sasha Mäkilä

Sasha Mäkilä ( born June 19, 1973 in Kerava, Finland) is a Finnish conductor and assistant conductor with the Cleveland Orchestra.

He studied with Leonid Kortschmar at the Rimsky- Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and Leif Segerstam at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. From 2007 to 2010 Mäkilä worked as an assistant with the Orchestre National de France.
