Saunder (crater)

Saunder is an impact crater on the lunar front southeast of the sine Medii, northeast of the crater Hipparchus. The crater is eroded, the crater edge of irregular shape, the interior largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astronomer Samuel Arthur Saunder.
