Saviniano Pérez

Saviniano Pérez, also known as Nano Pérez known (* 1907 in Melo; † 6 July 1985) was an Uruguayan politician.

He was born the son of the politician Saviniano Pérez, founder of El Censor, who was Concejal 1922 in Cerro Largo, and from February 15, 1926 held a position as a deputy in the Cámara de Representantes until 31 March 1933. The Partido Nacional nationals Pérez himself was elected in 1946 Intendente of the department of Cerro Largo. Previously, he had failed in two elections in 1938 and 1942. He then held from 1947 to 1963 after he won the elections in this regard in the years 1950, 1954 and 1958 in his favor this office. This no longer succeeded in 1962, however. Pérez was married three years older Henon Rosa de Pérez. He died from a cardiac arrest.
