Savo Å trbac

Savo Štrbac (* 1949 in Benkovac, Yugoslavia, now Croatia) is the former Minister of Information of the self-proclaimed Republic of Serbian Krajina and was a confidant of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY ) convicted war criminal Milan Babić and Milan Martić.

Life

Štrbac graduated in law from the University of Zagreb and lived until the outbreak of war in Croatia Croatia. Today he lives and works in Belgrade.

Štrbac worked until October 1990 as a judge in Zadar and was a member of the Yugoslav secret KOS (a service for Counter-Enlightenment ). Since 1994, he supported the ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte in the procurement of information material for the preparation of indictments against Croatian generals Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markač.

As a citizen of Serbia and Bosnia - Herzegovina in Banja Luka, he founded the association " Veritas ", the systematic research and published evidence for the crimes committed against Serbs crime.
