Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership

The Scandinavian Hydrogen Highway Partnership ( SHHP ) is an association of organizations HyNor (Norway ), Hydrogen Sweden ( Sweden) and Hydrogen Link (Denmark) with the goal in the three Scandinavian countries to establish one of the first European regions in which hydrogen for vehicles is available and can be used in a network of hydrogen filling stations.

The SHHP was founded in 2006 with the aim of building a lead market in Europe Scandinavia about hydrogen transport. In the national organizations HyNor, Hydrogen Sweden and Hydrogen Link each different sized organizations in the industrial, research and municipalities are represented. Associated partners of SHHP exist in Iceland, Finland and Canada (BC Highway). By 2015, the SHHP wants to build a network of 15 hydrogen filling stations, 30 branch offices, 500 automobiles, 500 special vehicles and 100 buses. The end of 2009, seven hydrogen refueling stations in operation in Stavanger, Grenland, Drammen, Oslo, Norway, in Ringkøbing and Copenhagen in Denmark and Malmo in Sweden. A gas station in Holstebro, Denmark, was under construction and eight more were planned (4 in Norway, 3 in Sweden and one in Denmark). In 2010, a second station in Stavanger went into operation. Mid-2011 in Denmark 12, Norway 5 and in Sweden a hydrogen filling station. 6 other gas station in Norway, three in Sweden and two in Denmark in planning or construction.
