Scapania nemorea

Scapania is a liverwort genus of order Lophoziales.

Features

The plants have kielig folded sheets. The leaves are divided up to half or even down to the base into two lobes of unequal size, with most of the upper lobe is smaller. Under sheets are not formed.

Distribution and systematics

Scapania is the eponymous genus of Scapaniaceae family. The 50 species are mainly found in the northern hemisphere. In Europe and Macaronesia, there are about 40 species, of which the following also in Germany:
