Location and description
The Schiahorn is located southeast of the municipal area of the municipality of Davos, in the northwest of the community also great Schanfigger Arosa (formerly Long Meadow ). Quite on the Davos area is the upstream Chlein Schiahorn, 2585m. The Schiahorn counts geologically to the Arosa Dolomites.
Southeast of the summit is the Strela is from where the summit to reach a mountain trail. 1934, the Cliff Walk was opened by the Western edge of the ski maple, which connects the Strela with the Hauptertälli in Sapün and Wasserscheidi.
Avalanche
The whole south-eastern slope of the ski Chlein maple is secured with avalanche barriers, a lasting impression during a visit to Davos.
