Weissfluhjoch

The Weissfluhjoch is a 2,693 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Plessur Alps in Switzerland. It is located in the west of Davos on the border of Arosa (formerly Long Meadow ) in the triangle of the Regions Landwassertal, Prättigau and Schanfigg and is, as the local mountain of the Alps city. Since the year 1932, the Parsennbahn under development Weissfluhjoch touristy.

At the summit there is a research station, which is operated by the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF. At the top end next to the Parsennbahn numerous other cable cars.

Sited in the north- west is the larger, less -developed touristic sister Weissflue. Between the two surveys leads from the Strela Coming past the Schanfigger trail.
