Schlangenbach (Altmühl)

The snake Bach is a stream in Central Franconian district of Wissembourg -Gunzenhausen and a tributary of the Altmühltherme.

Course

Its source is located west of Sammenheim at an altitude of around 485 m above sea level. After Durchfließung a pond and crossing under the county roads 26 and WUG WUG 28, flows through the Snake Bach ringing Mayrhofen. After a run of about 6.8 km, it opens between Unterasbach and wind field in the Altmühltherme.

Others

The snake river is moderate ( grade II) to critically polluted (class II - III). In places, it is also heavily polluted ( Class III ).
