Schnauzers are rough haired pet dogs with a powerful mustache and thick eyebrows. There are three different sized breeds: the giant, the Standard Schnauzer and the Miniature Schnauzer.

In the scheme of FCI they are under No. 181, 182 and 183, Group 2, led Section 1.2. Origin of the three races is Germany.

Origin and History

Schnauzer and Pinscher are basically the same breed type. They differ only in the coat structure. Nowadays both Schnauzer and Pinscher be further divided into three races of different sizes.
