School Street

The School Street is a relatively short but historically important street in Boston's North End in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. It bears this name because the first public school in the United States was there with the Boston Latin School from 1704 until her move to a new location in 1844. Over the entire length of the road is the Freedom Trail.

The road is a southeastern extension of Beacon Street and connects them from the Tremont Street with Washington Street. She leads past the King's Chapel, the Old City Hall and the Old Corner Bookstore. Also on the street is the Hotel Omni Parker House, which was founded by Harvey D. Parker in the 19th century and not only a popular meeting place for politicians and writers, but also the birthplace of some famous local dishes was. A little further north parallel the Pie Alley.
