Schottentor (Vienna U-Bahn)

The Schotttentor - University is a two-storey underground station on the U2 line in the 1st district of Vienna Innere city below the Maria Theresia Street. The name of the station derives from the same Schottentor, a former gate in the Viennese city wall, which was demolished in 1860.

The traffic complex Schottentor is one of the busiest public transport nodes in Vienna. Here take 13 lines to each other.
