Schubart-Literaturpreis
The Schubart Literature Prize of the city of Aalen is a literary award by the city of Aalen in 1955 donated in honor of Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart. He is one of the oldest literary awards of the State of Baden- Wuerttemberg.
The award is being awarded since 1956 every two years in German -speaking authors, their literary or journalistic performance is " in the tradition of liberal and rational thinking ... the poet, composer, and the first German journalist Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart ". It is endowed with 12,000 euros. For multiple winners, the sum is divided accordingly. Since 2011 also doped with 5.000 Euro Schubart Literature Prize is awarded. (2011 the prize money between producer and special award winner was shared. )
