The Schwabach rises in Ketteldorfer forest at Heilsbronn in Ansbach district at an altitude of 430 m. It flows east through Central Franconia and Schwabach. In Schwabachtal the community will pipe ( district of Roth ) crosses with its districts Leuzdorf, Kottensdorf and Gustenfelden.
