The Schwalmis is a 2,246 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Urner Alps on the border between the Swiss Cantons of Nidwalden and Uri. He belongs to a chain of mountains along with Jochlistock ( 2'079 m), Gandispitz ( 1,996 m), zingel ( 1'901 m) and superstructure floor ( 2,217 m). In summer and in winter the Schwalmis is relatively often visited. It is no problem for a usual mountain hikers and offers views in all directions, especially on Lake Lucerne.

Accessible he is from Klewenalp or Gitschenen as well as over the ridge of the superstructure floor ( only for experienced hikers and vertigo ).
