Scott Cohen (actor)
Scott Cohen ( born December 19, 1961 in New York, NY ) is an American actor.
Life and career
The son of a jazz musician, he learned early to play the piano.
After graduating from high school he found it difficult to find the right career, and tried as an assistant of a photographer, as a waiter and as a substitute teacher. Finally, he discovered acting for himself and celebrated in 1990 in the movie Jacob 's Ladder - In the violence of the afterlife alongside Tim Robbins made his acting debut.
This was followed by small roles in other movies such as Private Parts and guest appearances on numerous series, including in Law & Order and NYPD Blue.
After his performance as a wolf in the miniseries The Tenth Kingdom emerged within a week more than 100 unofficial Scott Cohen fan club in the USA.
In Germany, Scott Cohen is best known for his role as a teacher Max Medina on the hit series Gilmore Girls.
In 2005, he landed a starring role in Law & Order spin-off series Law & Order: Trial by Jury, but flopped and was canceled after only 13 episodes.
Scott Cohen is married since 1989 and has a son (* 1995).
