Scott Krinsky

Scott Krinsky (born 24 November 1968, Washington, DC ) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. His best-known roles are Darryl in the television series The OC, and Jeff in Chuck.

Biography

Scott Krinsky was in Washington, D.C. born and grew up in Olney, Maryland, 35 kilometers north of Washington, DC on. Even as a child he had the desire to be an actor. Until 1990 he studied Broadcast Journalism and Communication Studies at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. During his studies he worked briefly for the U.S. television channel CNN. When he visited first acting classes, he finished his work there and eventually moved to Los Angeles to become an actor.

After a few supporting roles in several independent films and an episode of the TV series Without a Trace, he was in the teen drama series The OC, Josh Schwartz 2006, the first of a recurring guest role as a homeless Darryl. The figure was originally intended to appear in only one episode, ultimately Krinsky was seen in a total of five episodes. As Josh Schwartz developed a new dramedy television series Chuck, he offered Krinsky on the role of Jeff. This Krinsky played from 2007 for five seasons as part of the main cast. Also in several web series and short films of the series he played this role.

Krinsky occurs as a stand- up comedian in various comedy theaters, such as the Comedy Store, Laugh Factory and Improv. He is a former member of the theater group The Bad Puppets and current member of the TheSpyAnts Theater Company.

In addition, he has appeared in various commercials. Among other things, McDonald's, Mountain Dew or Dish Network.
