Sean Biggerstaff

Sean Biggerstaff ( born March 15, 1983 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish actor.

Biggerstaff was discovered as a community theater actor of Alan Rickman and received by this his first film role in The Winter Guest starring Emma Thompson and Phyllida Law, in which Rickman has directed. Rickman advised him to add itself an agent and the first role that this gave him was that of Oliver Wood in the Harry Potter films ( 2001, 2002, 2011). Actually Biggerstaff was already provided for the role of Percy Weasley, but after Chris Rankin had auditioned, this got the role. Biggerstaff was employed as captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Oliver Wood. Previously, he was also guitarist of the band Crambo.

In 2005 he played in the world premiere of the theater production of " Girl with red hair" the role of Matt in Edinburgh and London, a play by Sharman Macdonald, who also wrote The Winter Guest.

From 2010 to 2012, he was a guitarist in the band Wrong Note

Bigger Taffs father 's fireman and his mother works in the community. Since 2001, he has a sister named Jenny.
