Sean Bobbitt

Sean Francis Bobbitt ( born November 29, 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas ) is a British cinematographer.

Life

The Texas native Sean Bobbitt Francis grew up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and in Weybridge, England. He studied and worked in California in the early 1980 in England for CBS - TV. Since his debut as a cinematographer with documentary miniseries Watergate turned Bobbitt among others, the British director Steve McQueen, the two internationally acclaimed independent films Hunger and Shame, several awards and nominations received by renowned camera prices for Bobbit.
