Gold tail Anemonefish (Amphiprion sebae )

The gold tail Anemonefish (Amphiprion sebae ) lives in the coral reefs of the northern Indian Ocean from Aden along the coast of the Arabian Sea, on the coasts of India and Sri Lanka, in the Maldives, the Andaman Sea and the southern coast of Sumatra and the coast of the western Java. The scientific name honors the German -Dutch naturalist Albert Seba.

The fish accept all of symbiosis anemones only the Teppichanemone ( Stichodactyla haddoni ) as a partner.

Features

The fish have a black color; Snout region, abdomen, chest, abdomen, anal and caudal fins are yellow. To draw two broad transverse bands to the lower edge of the gill cover or to the abdomen between belly and anal fin behind the eye, as well as from the rear of the dorsal fin. There are also instances that are apart from the white cross bands and the yellow snout and caudal fins are also yellow root entirely black. The black color can also be brown, its also orange yellow games.

The dorsal fin has ten to eleven hard - and 14 to 17 soft rays, the anal fin two hard and 13 to 14 soft rays. Amphiprion sebae is up to 16 inches long.
