Sebastian Adayanthrath

Sebastian Adayanthrath ( born April 5, 1957 in Vaikom, India) is auxiliary bishop in the Ernakulam- Angamaly Großerzbistum.

Life

Sebastian Adayanthrath received on December 18, 1983 by the Auxiliary Bishop of Ernakulam- Angamaly, Sebastian Mankuzhikary, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 4 February 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Macriana Maior and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of Ernakulam- Angamaly in Großerzbistum. The Syro -Malabar Major Archbishop of Ernakulam- Angamaly, Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil, C.Ss.R., donated to him on April 20th of that year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of London in Canada, John Michael Sherlock, and the Auxiliary Bishop of Ernakulam- Angamaly, Thomas Chakiath.
