Sebastián Ágreda

Sebastián Ágreda (* 1795 in Potosi, † December 18, 1875 in La Paz ) was a Bolivian general and politician, and president of his country.

Ágreda made ​​first career in the military. After holding the line of the Military Academy of Chuquisaca, he was appointed commander of the army by the President Andrés de Santa Cruz. Due to its successful operation in the fight against Argentina during the Batalla de Montenegro (1838 ), he was celebrated in Bolivia as a national hero. Sebastián Ágreda had his life held various political offices and was from June 10th to July 9th, 1841 for less than a month, the President of Bolivia.
