Sebastian Borger

Sebastian Borger ( born 1964 in Kronach ) is a German journalist and author.

Life

From 1987 to 1988 attended Sebastian Borger Henri Nannen School under the first headmaster Wolf Schneider.

As of 1989, Borger was a police reporter at the Munich newspaper. In 1991 he moved to the mirror, for whom he worked in Hamburg and Dresden. In 1995 he moved to London and studied there until 1998 at the London School of Economics and Political Science. 1998 until its closure in 2007 he worked for the Swiss news magazine Facts from 2010 to 2012, he was a correspondent for the Financial Times Germany.

Today, he works as an independent consultant and London correspondent. He writes for the political magazine Cicero, the Basler Zeitung and the Wiener standard. Even in the mirror story, he is regularly represented with contributions, in particular on issues of the Middle Ages. From the BBC he is occasionally invited as a guest commentator on German - British and international issues.

Borger is the brother of the writer Martina Borger and a descendant of Balthasar Crusius.
