Sebastián Simonet

Sebastian Simonet ( born May 12, 1986 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine handball player who is under contract with the French club U.S. Ivry HB since 2011.

Career

The 1.90 m wide playmaker started his career with Sociedad Alemana de Gimnasia de Villa Ballester, before he moved to the Spanish league ASOBAL for CB Torrevieja 2006. 2011 he wrote then in Ivry.

With the Argentina national team, he participated in the 2012 Olympic Games, the World Championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013 and won the Pan American Championship in 2012 and the Pan American Games in 2011. Previously, he played 131 matches in which he scored 367 goals. ( As of February 1, 2013)

At the World Championships in 2013, he was together with his younger brothers Diego and Pablo on the field.
